Author Guidelines

The Journal of Digital Health and Advanced Biomaterials (JDHAB) publishes original research, reviews, methodological papers, case reports, and editorials in digital health, advanced biomaterials, biomedical technologies, imaging, artificial intelligence, digital workflows, and translational clinical research.

Manuscripts must be submitted in English and prepared according to the journal’s author instructions, manuscript template, article-type limits, ethical requirements, reporting standards, and Vancouver reference style.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • The submission is original and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • The manuscript has been prepared using the official JDHAB manuscript template.
  • The manuscript is written in clear, formal English.
  • The selected article type follows the journal’s limits for word count, abstract, display items, and references.
  • The title page includes complete author names, academic degrees, institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs, and corresponding author information.
  • References follow Vancouver style according to the ICMJE Recommendations and NLM Citing Medicine.
  • Tables are editable and figures are provided in adequate publication quality.
  • Ethics approval, informed consent, consent for publication, data availability, code availability, funding, competing interests, and AI use statements are included when applicable.
  • The authors confirm that the manuscript complies with JDHAB’s Publication Ethics policy.

Author names, affiliations, ORCID identifiers, article titles, abstracts, and other publication metadata may be made publicly available as part of the scholarly record.

Editorial and publication records may be retained for as long as necessary to preserve the integrity, traceability, and continuity of the journal’s scholarly and administrative record.
