The Journal of Digital Health and Advanced Biomaterials — JDHAB operates under a Diamond Open Access model, supported by institutional sponsorship and independent scientific infrastructure services while preserving editorial independence, scientific integrity, and the absence of publication charges for authors.

LifeDent Esthetic Clinic is the founding sponsor of the Journal of Digital Health and Advanced Biomaterials (JDHAB).

The sponsor provides financial and technical support for the journal’s infrastructure, publishing platform, operational sustainability, and long-term development as a scholarly publication.

Scientific Infrastructure and Sustainability

AXIS Platform Core

JDHAB’s long-term sustainability may also be supported by independent scientific infrastructure and institutional services developed through AXIS Platform Core .

AXIS provides infrastructure-oriented services related to scientific asset identity, provenance, integrity, preservation, structured metadata, documentation, and institutional scope analysis.

Revenue generated through these services may contribute to the maintenance and continued development of JDHAB while helping preserve its Diamond Open Access model.

Strict Separation from Editorial Decisions

AXIS services are operationally and ethically separate from JDHAB’s editorial evaluation, peer-review process, and publication decisions.

The purchase or use of any AXIS service does not provide submission priority, expedited review, preferential editorial access, favorable evaluation, manuscript acceptance, publication, DOI assignment, indexing, certification of scientific quality, or recognition of scientific merit.

Authors and institutions are never required to use AXIS services in order to submit, review, publish, read, or reuse content in JDHAB.

Author Fees

No Submission Fees

JDHAB does not charge authors any fee for manuscript submission.

No Article Processing Charges

JDHAB does not currently charge publication fees or article processing charges for accepted manuscripts.

Editorial Independence

Independence from Sponsorship Influence

Financial support, sponsorship, and infrastructure services have no influence on editorial evaluation, peer review, acceptance decisions, publication timing, or editorial policies.

All editorial decisions are based exclusively on scientific merit, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Equal Treatment of Authors

Funding support does not provide preferential treatment to any author, institution, sponsor, service user, editor, reviewer, or affiliated organization.

All submissions are evaluated according to the same editorial and peer-review standards.

Transparency

Public Communication of Funding Changes

Any future change to the journal’s funding structure, sponsorship arrangements, scientific infrastructure support, or publication fee model will be publicly communicated through the journal website and reflected in the journal’s official policies.

Commitment to Independent Open Access Publishing

JDHAB’s funding model is designed to support long-term editorial sustainability while preserving open access, author equity, scientific independence, transparent governance, and responsible scholarly communication.

JDHAB publishes science openly. AXIS provides independent scientific infrastructure. Financial sustainability must support scientific integrity and must never determine scientific merit.
